Hi Friends! I was hoping to have this post up yesterday, but we have been so BUSY getting ready for school and all of our other activities to start this week! As we speak, I am watching Brynlee during her first gymnastics class of the season! She loves gymnastics! This is her second year doing it! She takes dance too, which starts back next week! So I am sure you’re all dying to hear how our week went last week. And it was a little tough!! I will say, I think part of it had to do with the headaches and infusions going on. When you’re feeling sick, you really just want a coke- not water!
I thought it would be best to break it down day – by – day!
Monday- we felt pretty good! I texted Bill half way through the day and told him I felt so healthy, ha! I had only had breakfast and lunch, so it had only been two meals. Overall, day one went pretty darn good! Here is what we ate: Breakfast- potatoes, chorizo and egg scramble. Lunch: Chicken Soup. Dinner: Chicken Soup. We did repeat meals because I was having headaches and just didn’t really feel like cooking.
Tuesday- I felt ok this day, but Bill was the complete opposite! He had what we think was the “carb flu”. He actually stayed home from work. And the be completely honest, I have no clue what we ate this day!
Wednesday- This is when our week got a little off. Bill did feel better this day, but I went to the doctor for what I thought was an appointment and ended up having to come the next 3 days for infusions.
Thursday-Saturday- we felt ok! We had cravings for takeout since it was easy and I wanted a Coke Zero! We were able to stay on plan during the infusions and are really proud of ourselves for that!
Sunday- EXHAUSTED! We went to bed at 8 pm on Sunday and didn’t feel bad about it!
This week, I just really want a glass of wine!!
I didn’t do great last week with keeping track of our meals and taking pictures because of everything we had going on , but I have already done better this week and tomorrow I am sharing a Whole30 recipe that we made and it was delicious!
