Could this be any more true?
I hear “I’m bored” over and over all day long. How about play with the million toys you have or go play in the back yard?
In order to save my sanity and my house, I sat down with the girls and we came up with our summer bucket list. I decided how we will display it yet, but we have it written down on the back of a piece of paper! You have to start somewhere, right?
The Allen Family Summer Bucket List
Visit the Greensboro Science Center
Go to Coconut Charlie’s with neighborhood friends
Go to the pool (this one could be marked off our list)
Wave jumping with daddy in Kiawah
Going to get ice cream after dinner
Camping outside- not sure how I feel about this one. We also do not have a tent!
Have a pajama day
Have a “bake out” with Innie. I asked what that meant and she said to spend the day with Innie (my mom) baking.
Build a fort inside. Can you buy a kit on Amazon?
Invite friends over for a cookout
Get a fish
Have a relaxing day. Wonder what their definition of relaxing is?
Have a picnic
Book Club- I signed her up for a little book club at our local book store that starts in July.
Make ice cream
Water ballon fight
Nature scavenger hunt
Here is to a summer full of laughs and smiles and no “I’m boreds”!
